Travel Slide Show Series at North Branch Library

SILVERTHORNE – Get ready to visit exotic places this New Year when the Friends of the Library present the annual Travel Slide Show Series. The program begins on January 21 at 7 p.m., and will be in the Blue River Room of the North Branch Library located at 651 Center Circle in Silverthorne.

Past destinations have included the Colorado Trail, Afghanistan, Antarctica, Egypt, and Switzerland. This year’s itinerary includes:

> Friday, January 21 – “Mazungas in the Mist: Trecking to Mountain Gorillas in Africa,” presented by Susan and Fred Forman

> Friday, February 4 – “Lets go to Florence!,” presented by Dan Taylor

> Friday, February 11 – “Italy: Tourist to Mountain Climber,” presented by John Warner

> Friday, February 25 – “The Soul of India,” presented by Barbara Werren

> Friday, March 4 – “Exploring the Galapagos,” presented by John Mirro
