Trooper Plakorus wins karma, safety points for good manners
Six weeks ago, I was stopped by State Trooper Martin Plakorus for speeding on Highway 9 north of Silverthorne.
He acted in such a respectful and professional manner, I felt inspired to obey the posted speed limit in the future.
I have kept that promise to myself, in spite of the disgruntled drivers who tailgate me through that newly constructed stretch of curves on a daily basis.
Trooper Plakorus is an asset to the Colorado State Patrol. I’m grateful that men of his integrity choose to become police officers.
