Turkey dinner served tonight at Copper

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

Copper Mountain Resort will carve up turkey with all the trimmings from 5-7 p.m. tonight at Jack’s in Copper One. Cost is $10 for adults and $6 for kids aged 5-12. The guest of honor this year is Vi Effinger, a long-time resident at Copper. All proceeds benefit the Copper Chapel Foundation’s community outreach program. Funds go to community members, residents, visitors and employees who need some extra help, perhaps for medical treatment, food, or transportation back home in an emergency. The turkey dinner is supplied by Copper Mountain Resort and, according to Sue Falsey, treasurer of the chapel foundation, no one will go away hungry.
