TV news teams with Krystal for ‘road show’ to Summit County

KCNC-TV has announced a new Morning Show Road Trip that kicks off Friday with radio partner Krystal 93 FM in Summit County. The month-long series is designed to let viewers know about fun and affordable places to visit and things to do in Colorado this summer.

The kick-off will take place from 5-7 a.m. at the Frisco Marina with the Frisco rowing club in full force giving lessons on the reservoir. Also featured during this segment will be the Breckenridge Art Center, the National Repertory Orchestra, a Summit brewer with a beer tasting and Krystal 93 FM with a preview of what listeners can expect during the station’s Dillon Fireworks simulcast on Friday called “Never Forget – An Evening of Tribute.”

“CBS4 is kicking it off in Summit County ‘live’ with Stan Bush our mountain bureau reporter and morning anchor Alan Gionet,” news director Tim Wieland said.

Krystal 93 FM will also give viewers a preview of the Fourth of July event in Frisco which begins with live music, a parade at 12:30 p.m., an early evening performance by Denver singer Hazel Miller and her band at the marina and a fireworks show where Krystal 93 will again play a music soundtrack synchronized to the fireworks.
