Two-for-one dinners a benefit to both locals and restaurants

Belinda Bulas, Breckenridge

I am steaming after reading the story and then the letter criticizing two-for-one restaurant deals.

Please tell me more about the exact “clientele” the writer is trying to eliminate from frequenting Summit County restaurants.

Do you really think that two for ones are contributing to the “cheapening” of Summit County?

Wake up. Many people who live here year-round are not millionaires and actually work and pay bills.

Obviously, there is a price to pay for living in a resort area, and most people are willing to pay it by trying to scrape by on the limited professional employment opportunities that are offered.

I hold a professional job in this county, and I do frequent restaurants all year-round. However, when mud season approaches, I look forward to the two-for-one offers. I do not consider myself an unsavory character and take great offense to these remarks.
