Two seats open on Copper Mountain Metro District board

COPPER MOUNTAIN – Copper Mountain Metropolitan District is taking nominations for two seats on its five-member board of directors.

The district provides water, sewer, fire and television services to the Copper area. The board sets policy carried out by about 22 full-time employees.

Regular board meetings occur at 8:30 a.m. on the last Friday of each month at Copper Mountain Chapel, 630 Copper Road.

Four-year seats held by incumbents Ben Broughton and Karl Anutaare up for election.

Eligible candidates – who must be qualified electors – may pick up self-nomination forms at 0477 Copper Road on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. All forms must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday.
