U.S. Sen. Bennet cancels Saturday’s visit to Frisco

Daily Staff Report

U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet has canceled plans to meet with constituents in Frisco on Saturday because of winter weather conditions along Interstate 70.

Bennet was expected to meet with residents for town-hall-style meetings that day in Frisco, Edwards and Glenwood Springs.

The senator was appointed in late January to fill U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar’s seat.
