U.S. Senate candidate Jane Norton to visit Frisco on Friday

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Jane Norton will visit Summit County Friday evening to meet with voters and discuss her position on various issues affecting Colorado. The former Colorado lieutenant governor will appear at the Boatyard, 304 Main St., Frisco, from 5-7 p.m., in the upper dining area at the back of the restaurant.

According to a press release on the event issued by Norton’s campaign, she “is running for U.S. Senate because she is fed up with Washington, D.C., spending our money like it’s their own personal slush funds. They are spending our kids’ and grandkids’ money for their pet programs, and it’s time we send someone to Washington who won’t just promise to cut spending, but has already proven they can.”
