U.S. Senate candidate Romanoff to appear in Frisco Saturday

U.S. Senate candidate Andrew Romanoff will visit Summit County at 1 p.m., Saturday. He will hold a public lunch meeting at Bagali’s restaurant, at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Main Street in Frisco. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask Romanoff questions about his positions on issues that affect Summit County. Lunch will be available for $8, but participants need not purchase lunch to attend the event.

Romanoff served four terms in the Colorado House of Representatives, including four years as speaker of the House. Romanoff holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University, a master’s in public policy from Harvard University and a law degree from the University of Denver.

Romanoff has taught at the University of Colorado, the Community College of Aurora, Metro State College and Red Rocks Community College. He has served on the boards of the Center for Women’s Employment and Education, the Colorado Children’s Campaign, Colorado Common Cause, and the Colorado Health Foundation.
