FARMER’S KORNER ” Summit High School board members, architects, teachers and students were all out today to unveil the new Helen Foote Career and Technical Education (CTE) wing. The wing features culinary arts, medical preparation and video production programs.

The students were just as enthusiastic about the project as the teachers and looks as though the new wing will be a great learning environment for everyone involved.

The new wing has been dedicated to Helen Foote, who started the Home Economics department at Summit High in 1958. Helen passed away this past December. The project has been completed well ahead of schedule and everyone involved is thrilled to get to work in the new facility. Take a look at the video to see students at work in the new wing and the ribbon cutting ceremony.
