Upcoming Frisco State of the Town postponed until August

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

The Town of Frisco is canceling plans to hold the annual State of the Town on Friday, May 15. Instead, the town is looking to hold a cook-out on Aug. 12. This open-house event will allow citizens to mingle and talk with town staff and their elected officials.

The town is very proud of its successes in 2008. The annual State of the Town newsletter highlighting these successes will be arriving in post office boxes shortly. Town staff also created a video about 2008, which will be available on http://www.sctv10.com soon.

If you have questions about the State of the Town, contact Amy Stoehrmann at amys@townoffrisco.com or call (970) 668-9126. Stay tuned for more details about the August cook-out.
