Upcoming workshops at CMC

The Center for Lifelong Learning at Colorado Mountain College has several new classes that will be starting in the next weeks. Here are just a few: – Latin Dancing – Take the first step into the Latin world of fast, fun dances such as Mambo, Salsa, Meringue, and Cha-cha. Six weeks of lessons run Sept. 12 to Oct. 17, Mondays, 7-8 p.m., at the Breck Campus. Cost is $75. Ref.# 14436. – Swing Dancing – Taught by Jessie Appel, classes will be held on Wednesdays, 7-7:45 p.m. at the Breck Campus, Sept 14-Oct 19. Cost is $65. Ref.# 14522. – Ballroom Dancing – Learn basic rhythms, steps, turns and patterns of the Cha-cha, Swing, Waltz, Foxtrot and Rumba, with instructor Joan Moll. Classes will be held at the Breck Campus, Thursdays, 7:30-8:30 p.m., Sept. 15-Oct. 20. Cost: $75. Ref.#14441. – Beginning Meditation – This is a cordial invitation from instructor, Terry Cooper, to a 4-week Beginning Meditation course in spiritual growth and self-improvement. Classes run Sept 12 Oct. 17, Mondays, 7-8 p.m. at the Breck campus. Cost is $60. Ref.# 13178. – Creating the Life You Want – Instruction on self management, developing creativity, and successful goal achievement will be included. Joan Moll will teach this class on Thursdays, from 5:30-7 p.m., Sept. 15-Oct. 20. Cost: $75. Ref. #14523. – Watercolor Workshop with Ann Weaver – This 2-day workshop is geared to all levels of adult student, beginner to advanced. The class runs at the Breck Campus, Thurs., 11 a.m. 4 p.m., and Friday 9:30 a.m. 2:30 p.m. Sept. 15-16. Ref.#13771. Cost: $50.
