Vail Mountain School holding annual dinner, dance and auction

The Vail Mountain School (VMS) is holding its 28th Holiday Dinner Dance and Auction Saturday at the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort & Spa with a disco theme.Festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with cocktails and a silent auction, followed by a seated dinner, live auction and dancing to the music of the fabulous Nacho Men.One live auction item is a first-class, seven-day trip for four to Washington, D.C., with five-star accommodations and private tours of the Capitol, Smithsonian, the National Cathedral, dinner at the “Monocle” and more.Other items include a trip to the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort on St. Thomas with a two-bedroom condo at a premier luxury resort and a wine cellar collection valued at more than $10,000. Many of these wines have been rated 95 or better by Wine Spectator.”The proceeds from the VMS Holiday Dinner Dance and Auction enhance the school’s outstanding curriculum and rich educational offerings for each and every one of our students,” said Nancy Young, development director.Tickets to this year’s dinner dance and auction are available for $110 per person and seating is limited.
