Vail Resorts awards SHS scholarships

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

BROOMFIELD – Vail Resorts is proud to award 16 Summit High School students with college scholarships through its Vail Resorts 360 program. Scholarships are given to students who show high academic achievement and whose families are dedicated employees of Vail Resorts in Summit County.

This year, the recipients and their intended schools include: Brady Holland, Zachary Armstrong, Jeffery Goldstein, Bradley Zimmerman, Kelly Cochran, Ariana McEwan, Roberta Bouchard, Shelby Autnier, Thomas Sawyer, Robert Daigle, Sydney Schwab, Chloe King, Chelsea Ryback, Lauren Bossert, Justin Skall, and Skylar Steele.

“We are so proud of these outstanding young adults,” said Pat Campbell, senior vice president and chief operating officer of Keystone Ski Resort, “Each of them represents the values of the Vail Resorts 360 program, demonstrating a commitment to their communities and personal academic achievement.”

Vail Resorts 360, the company’s corporate stewardship program, brings together three important initiatives – charitable giving across all company divisions, community engagement for our employees and our environmental stewardship programs. By focusing on these three initiatives, Vail Resorts will be able to perpetuate the superior quality of the guest experience, preserve and care for the communities and become stewards of the spectacular environment that surrounds each of the iconic resorts.
