Vail Resorts donates furniture to Habitat for Humanity

The Vail Resorts Development Company and Vail Resorts Echo recently made a donation of furniture to Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore, which sell donated goods to the public. All proceeds help local Habitat affiliates fund the construction of Habitat Homes within their communities. Vail donated over 30 pieces of furniture, including sofas, tables, chairs and mattresses from One Ski Hill Place.

“We’re happy to support such a great community organization and local families in need,” said Ross Holbrook, project manager at the development company.

Frank Steen, director at ReStore, said they are very happy with the donation.

“It’s a very kind donation and we appreciate it,” he said.

Steen said Vail has been very generous to the nonprofit in the past. He said they also recently donated building materials.
