Vail-Summit Orthopaedics is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. John Paul Elton. The Harvard-trained foot and ankle specialist recently completed his Fellowship Training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Elton said he is thrilled to be returning to Colorado where he earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University Of Colorado School Of Medicine in Denver, and his Bachelor of Science at the University of Colorado in Boulder.

“I am excited to be returning home to Colorado with my family, and privileged to be joining Vail-Summit Orthopaedics,” he said. “I look forward to helping keep our active community on its feet.”

Vail-Summit Orthopaedics CEO Chip Webb said Elton brings much-needed expertise to Eagle and Summit counties in the treatment of acute and chronic foot and ankle pain.

“Dr. Elton will be able to treat any foot and ankle condition including sports injuries and fractures, arthritis, nerve and tendon disorders, bunions and other deformities of the foot and ankle,” Webb said.

Elton will start work Sept. 1 and will split his time between VSO offices in Edwards, Vail and Frisco.

Focusing on providing the highest quality patient service available, Vail-Summit Orthopaedics has been helping patients with the best customized treatment and the latest advances in medical technology since 1979.
