KEYSTONE – It’s Vegas – High Country style. Keystone Resort is spicing up its night skiing with “Under the Lights Vegas Nights” every Thursday from 6-9 p.m. through the end of March.To enter, just take an envelope on your way up the gondola. Inside participants will find their first two cards.Another trip and another envelope gets four cards. The fifth can be retrieved at the Vegas headquarters – The Summit House at the top. There, night skiers can redeem their winnings based on their hand.Prizes last week for a hand with two pairs were carabiners; a flush won a backpack or sweatshirt.Skiers can grub down for $19.95 at the all-you-can-eat buffet and DJ Vegas will be spinning tunes in the Summit House. Casino games including a poker table and blackjack table are also set up; entering to win the grand prize will get you in the game. Participants who enter to win one of three grand prizes – NASCAR tickets to the July 4 Daytona race, a trip to Las Vegas or a return trip to Keystone – get five chips worth $10 each (of course those aren’t real dollars). Winnings can be redeemed for prizes. $50 in Keystone chips will get you a cup and free drink.
