Vehicle missing from Breck neighborhood

BRECKENRIDGE – Another vehicle has disappeared from a Breckenridge neighborhood, despite the police department’s recent “lock or walk” campaign.A Breckenridge man reported his red, 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe missing last Friday morning from his home on North Ridge Street.He told police that he arrived home Thursday evening at about 5:30 p.m., put his car keys on the floor of his truck and left the vehicle unlocked.His truck was gone the following morning and has not been found.Last month, the Breckenridge Police Department kicked off its “lock or walk” campaign, urging people to lock their vehicles because of a rash of thefts and illegal enterings.
