SILVERTHORNE ” The Summit Choral Society and The Summit Concert Band got together to put on the 2006 Holiday Concert at the Silverthorne Pavilion on Monday evening.

The first half of the program featured the Summit Choral Society and included renditions of “Silent Night,” “Carol of the Bells,” “A Collection of Christmas Favorites” arranged by Kirby Shaw, “La Virgen Lava Panales” and a medley of “The First Noel” and “Pachelbel’s Canon.” Ann Erdle directed the first portion of the evening accompanied by Caroline Foley on the piano.

After the intermission, conductor Jim Knapp and the Summit Concert Band took over with Leroy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride,” “Veni Immanuel,” “The Polar Express,” “The Sussex Mummers Carol” and Robert W. Smith’s “Wassail.”
