Video shots in Breck

BRECKENRIDGE – If you see a production crew out and about from Sept. 19-27, smile for the camera.
Vacation Lifestyle Productions will be shooting a television series pilot, which will feature timeshare ownership at Grand Lodge on Peak 7. Several local restaurants, bars and shops will serve as set locations, and many of the most popular vacation activity vendors in the area will be assisting with the production.
The show will feature scenes from Oktoberfest on Saturday, and emphasize the beauty of Summit County as the Aspen foliage peaks during the next week. The script is organized in such a fashion that subtle changes can be quickly implemented as necessary to include what local and film producer Marshall Upjohn calls “local color” – and he’s not referring to the Aspen leaves.
“I want to show the world that Breckenridge is much more fun than the average tourist might think,” Upjohn said. “Those of us who live here understand the special nature of the people who live in Breckenridge and the surrounding area.”
Anyone who might like to be considered to appear as an extra in the show should send a photo, contact information, a description of any special skills and talent along with an outline of their availability to firstname.lastname@example.org. Simply put “Casting Call” in the subject line, and keep your phone turned on.
Vacation Lifestyle Productions plans to submit its hour long pilot to The Travel Channel for consideration as a series, but there is no deal in place at this time.
