Volunteer briefing on Saturday for Dog Daze


A 2005 Dog Daze of Summit volunteer briefing will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Backcountry Brewery in Frisco. The fourth annual Dog Daze of Summit, a fun dog-friendly event at Copper Mountain for the benefit of Canine Partners of the Rockies, will be held this year on Aug 27-28. New for this year: the event will be two days with more games, competitions, prizes, demonstrations, workshops, music, food and fun for dogs and dog lovers. There will be a concert on Saturday afternoon and a Canine Wine and Dine dinner on Saturday night. There will also be a K9 Extreme mountain obstacle course race on Sunday for the benefit of L.A.P.S.Volunteers are needed for the event festivities and also have some pre-event projects that can use some help.
