Volunteers needed for Breckenridge 100

Daily News staff report

Be a part of Summit County’s toughest one-day mountain bike event. The seventh annual Breckenridge 100 will again be held on Saturday. The race raises money for the Mountain Hope Foundation providing scholarships for its equestrian therapy program, as well as United Cerebral Palsy. It’s stop No. 5 on the National Ultra Endurance Series and will feature riders and teams from across the country and internationally. We’ll need help preparing and staffing the on-course aid stations, general set up, rider registration, finish line timing, and post race clean-up. All volunteers will receive an event T-shirt, socks and food and drinks are provided for all shifts. This is an excellent, fun opportunity to get involved with a local event, and Summit students can earn volunteer hours for next year!
