Volunteers needed for Conservation Easement monitoring

DAILY NEWS STAFF REPORT

Continental Divide Land Trust is seeking volunteers to help monitor the conservation easement properties we hold at our annual Easement Stewardship Day on Sept. 26. The day starts at 9 a.m. with training in the morning on conservation easements and how and why we monitor them. The afternoon is spent in the field on an actual monitoring visit with an experienced Land Steward.

Volunteers should be prepared for an afternoon in the field, hiking the property boundaries and taking notes. Hiking difficulty ranges from easy to moderate. Lunch is provided. Sign up in advance by contacting CDLT at (970) 453-3875 or info@cdlt.org. For more infor, visit our website at http://www.cdlt.org
