Volunteers needed for the 2nd Annual Beetlefest

The 2nd Annual Beetlefest will carve its way on to Frisco’s Main Street on Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This unique zany event is designed to bring education and awareness regarding the devastation caused by the mountain pine beetle.

Beetlefest will include a full day of activities like the lumberjack show, live entertainment, a 4k beetle stomp fun run, a bug petting zoo, and the slug bug. The event will benefit Friends of the Dillon Ranger District and volunteers are needed to help. Contact Gail Culp at (970)376-1008, or gailculp@aol.com to sign-up.
