Volunteers wanted for community link program

Daily News staff report

National Repertory Orchestra musicians will be in Breckenridge June 12 through Aug. 8, and volunteers are needed for the community link program. The program links the musicians with locals for the summer season and provides opportunities for getting involved in the weekly group activities planned for the musicians on their days off.

Involvement depends on the volunteer’s schedule and the musician’s. Volunteer activities include inviting a musician to dinner a couple of times during the summer, giving him or her a ride to the movies or letting musicians come over to do laundry or check e-mail.

For more information on being an NRO volunteer, contact Bonnie Kirschenbaum at (970) 547-7144 or bkirschen@aol.com.
