Wage withholding class for employers offered

The Department of Revenue offers a free training seminar on wage withholding tax. “Wage withholding is an important issue for any business with employees,” said Deanna Hoffman, tax trainer with the Colorado Department of Revenue. The six-hour seminar presents new and relevant information on a variety of wage withholding related topics. The next session is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17, at 1881 Pierce St., Room 110 in Lakewood. Check-in time is 8:30 a.m. The course features the following topics:• Federal and Colorado wage withholding regulations• Forms instruction• Department of Labor requirements• Unemployment Insurance issuesTraining materials are provided. Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits are available. Space is limited. Reservations are required via e-mail.
