Waldrip: No planning for the unforeseen

Apparently in Mr. Wood’s world, there is no such thing as unforeseen circumstances. Perhaps he could enlighten those hard working people who lost jobs in the economic downturn what do with the children they can no longer afford. Or, those gainfully employed and insured individuals that wake up one day with cancer or heart disease or get disabled in car accident and find themselves negotiating the financial minefield of serious illness, or those who have lost a spouse and have become a single parent household. What should they all do with the children they can no longer “afford?” Very bad things happen to good people all the time, Mr. Wood. May you always maintain your insulation from the unforeseen.
