Frisco’s Wassail Days set to return Nov. 30-Dec. 8
Frisco’s Wassail Days is set to begin on Nov. 30 alongside the town’s annual holiday lighting celebration. Festivities including caroling, fireworks and a tree lighting are set to begin at Frisco Historic Park on Frisco Main Street at 5:45 p.m.
Wassail Days invites locals and visitors to downtown Frisco to stop in at local businesses at sample wassail, a hot cider made with spices and fruits that is traditionally served during winter holidays.
In 2023, 52 businesses collectively served over 24,600 sips of wassail, according to a press release from the town of Frisco.
More than 50 local businesses will serve wassail or an alternative holiday treat this year from Nov. 30 to Dec. 8. Wassail Days participants will have the chance to vote on their favorite recipe and fill out their 12 Sips of Wassail card. Completed cards can be redeemed at the Frisco/Copper Visitor Information Center for a free 2024 Wassail Days Mug. This year’s mug features an original design from Summit County-based artist Player Haynes.
