Water line work begins today in Dillon

Daily News staff report

Water outages are scheduled in the Town of Dillon starting today from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and ongoing over the next two weeks on business days from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., minus the Memorial Day holiday. Trevor Giles, chief plant operator at Dillon’s water department, said the outages are scheduled to allow for the installation of new water lines in the Corinthian Hills neighborhood. He said the installation of the new lines, along with new corporation stops, will make water outages “less intrusive” in the future.

The work will be going on through June 3, along with intermittent closures throughout June and July.
