We are all in the same boat

Cindy Keiser, Blue River

Whether you are “fat and happy” or miserable about the outcome of our presidential election, it is a done deal. Now it is time to think in terms of collaboration because we have a tough road ahead of us. I suspect things will get worse before they get better. We need all of our minds and hearts to stay involved in the process, so stop gloating or complaining. This doesn’t help.I am reminded of an adage (I wish I could remember who said it to me, it might have been Gary Dutmers back in the days of the Quandary Times) that goes, “Winners never learn, and losers never forget.”My view is that we are all winners and losers here; we are all in the same boat. Let’s quit arguing about whether the bow or the stern is correct.
