BRECKENRIDGE – Watercolor painter Ann Weaver will present a two-day workshop through the Center for Lifelong Learning at Colorado Mountain College (CMC) June 28-29 at the Breckenridge campus. The class is open to all levels of adult students, and will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Some previous drawing and painting instruction is recommended. Weaver has taught watercolor at CMC since 1992. Her class concentrates on the difference between watercolor technique and other paint mediums. She explores landscape subjects and includes demonstration paintings. She plans to paint some work outdoors, weather permitting. To register, call (970) 453-6757. Weaver’s work is on display at Hang Time Gallery in Breckenridge and Buffalo Mountain Gallery in Frisco. Recently, her scene of a fly fisherman on the Blue River was reproduced as a commemorative poster for the 2004 Blue River Festival.
