‘Week of Songs for Arnie’ starts tonight at The Cala Inn

The “Week of Songs For Arnie” kicks off at 9 tonight at The Cala Inn in Summit Cove. Arnie J. Green & friends, John Truscelli Band, Dewey Paul and many others will perform. Bring your instrument and sit in on this “sessions-style” benefit.Wednesday is Arnie’s birthday and members of his family will be present to celebrate and perform at the Kickapoo Tavern for happy hour from 4-7 p.m. and at The Wolf Rock following that. Both locations are in River Run Village, Keystone. The Pine Beetles, Leon Littlebird and others will also perform.On Thursday, 9 p.m. at the Dillon Dam Brewery – three bands: 4C.O.T.A., Tolerance, and Monkey Knife Fight will perform along with Arnie & family.On Friday at 9 p.m. at The Goat Soup & Whiskey Tavern with Arnie Family & Friends, Fried Grease, and many special guests.On Saturday at 8 p.m. at The Other Side in Denver featuring Arnie J. Green Family & Friends, Bill McKay, Fried Grease, Mighty High Band, Shakedown Street, Dylan66, Dewey Paul Band, Jack Hadley and many surprise guests.On Sunday, after the Super Bowl, at 9 p.m. at The Snake River Saloon … the big finale – Arnie J Green Band & Friends…Entrance fees will be sliding-scale donations with all receipts going to cover Arnie’s medical expenses. There will also be silent auction items.
