What did Tom Long mean?

Tim ReidyMesa Cortina

“… Next time somebody’s in a bind we’ll look harder at trying to help them.”What was County Commissioner Tom Long trying to tell the citizens of Heeney? Was he angry that the county was caught not performing as it had stated to the citizens about the temporary steel building?Did he think the threat would make a bigger impact on the citizens? Commissioner Long might want to recall the job he sought out, and was elected to perform. That job is to serve, help, to do what the people of this county want, not to issue thinly veiled threats to squelch dissent.
