The newly remodeled Silverthorne Recreation Center boast 64,000 square feet and features state of the art fitness equipment, an aquatics facility that includes four pools and three slides, a free weight room, an indoor running track, stretching and cardio areas and more!

Blue River Trail – The Blue River trail is a 10’ wide paved recreation path that links to the Summit County trail system

and is ideal for families. Many parks and open space – The Town of Silverthorne is home to many outdoor recreation opportunities, including four parks, two National Forest Service Trail Heads, and access to an abundance of open space, as well as, the Summit County trail system.


The Pavilion sits at the edge of the famed Blue River in the heart of the Town Center and boasts nearly 12,000 square feet of space. With a flexible, open floor plan, we are able to arrange furniture to accommodate the size and

Silverthorne is located within a few miles of Wilderness areas. The Silverthorne Recreation Center was once again voted the Best Recreation Center in Summit County by Summit Daily readers.

Rainbow Park, Silverthorne’s largest park, features a state of the art playground, specific Tot Lot playground, a skate park, basketball courts, tennis courts, pavilions, picnic areas and grills, as well as a large multi purpose field.

The famed Blue River in Silverthorne is designated Gold Medal fishing waters.

North Pond Park, located just across from the Silverthorne Elementary School, features a large pond perfect for ice skating in the winter and fishing, stand up paddle boarding and more in the summer.
