Where do we start striking blows for liberty?

This is in response to Troy Bunch’s Feb. 12 letter encouraging Americans to support George W’s plan to spread freedom and democracy, and end tyranny around the world. The countries mentioned all meet or exceed the criteria Bush used to justify the invasion of Iraq.It would take pages to discuss all of the countries that have nondemocratic oppressive leadership we should deal with. The question is where do we start? Do we Invade North Korea first since it has openly defied us, and built nukes to deter our aggressive policy? How about Iran? Fewer lives would be lost if we attack before it succeeds in its nuclear quest. We could bomb Syria while we’re there and free a good portion of the Axis of Evil. Better yet, we should start with Saudi Arabia. It has more oil.We will need to control more than just Iraq’s oil to systematically keep spreading democracy. America has so much work to do that we had better start the draft right away. The only thing I’m sure of is that we had better save China for last because it’s going to kick our behinds worse than we did to the Germans in World War II.
