Where, when to vote

SUMMIT COUNTY – Voters across the county will be asked to cast ballots Tuesday on issues ranging from who should be Silverthorne’s next mayor to whether to raise taxes for three local fire districts.

Residents who live within those individual fire districts are eligible to vote on the mill levy question. For example, someone who lives on Peak 7 near Breckenridge and is served by the Red, White and Blue fire department can vote in that election.

All polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

n Copper Mountain Fire Department and Copper Mountain Metropolitan District

Voting for both issues will take place at the Copper Mountain Chapel, 630 Copper Road

n Red, White and Blue Fire Protection District

Voting will take place at the Red, White and Blue main station at 316 Main St. in Breckenridge

n Silverthorne mayoral runoff

Voting will take place at Silverthorne Town Hall, 601 Center Circle

n Snake River Fire Protection District

Voting will take place at Summit Cove Elementary, 0727 Cove Blvd.
