Wildlife photography workshop held at North Branch Library
Join local amateur photographers for an evening discussion of digital photography tips and techniques this Friday, April 29 from 7–9 p.m. at the North Branch Library’s Blue River Room. Matt Shetzer, a local professional photographer who travels the world hosting photography workshops, will share his years of experience to help attendees create perfect digital image. The discussions will assist in understanding digital SLR camera and its many features to get beautiful shots.
Attendees will gain a better understanding of the various “tools of the trade” including:
Image composition techniques to improve photography and highlight the subject in the best possible manner and improve storytelling;
Camera modes — aperture, shutter, manual verses auto — which is best to use and when?;
Understanding and achieving perfect exposure in camera to eliminate hours of post processing;
Using the camera’s histogram.
