William Jones, formerly of Fairplay, dies

William Felix Jones, Jr. of Rogers, Ark. and formerly of Fairplay died Nov. 24 in Springdale, Ark. He was 73.

He was born June 27, 1936 in Fort Worth, the son of William Felix Jones, Sr. and Doris Graves Jones. He was a retired petroleum engineer and had served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Taylor of Rogers, Ark. and Stephanie Morgan of Granbury, Texas; one son, Billy Jones of Swannanoa, N.C.; one sister, Linda Dyal of Avon; and five grandchildren.

Cremation was under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, http://www.memfuneral.com.
