Willow Grove open space dedication on Friday

Join Continental Divide Land Trust and the Town of Silverthorne for an open space dedication at the Willow Grove Conservation Easement property from 3-5 p.m. on Friday.This property was recently purchased by the Town of Silverthorne and is now open to public access. The 11-acre parcel features 1,000 feet of Blue River frontage, ancient cottonwood trees, and a large pond. The event will also celebrate the recent protection of 1298 Blue River Parkway across the Blue River from Willow Grove. In the near future, these two properties will be joined with a recpath and bridge. Refreshments, presentations and property tours. Rain or shine.Gather at the end of Mesa Drive, just off Rainbow Drive north of the Silverthorne Recreation Center. Parking is very limited at Mesa Drive, so if you can, please park at Town Hall and walk down the river trail to the Willow Grove property.
