Wine Makers benefit has Italian flare

Taddeo’s Italian Restaurant in Breckenridge hosts the Ninth Annual Fall Wine Makers Dinner as a benefit for the Carriage House Early Learning Center Oct. 7. The event will begin at 6 p.m. with appetizers, wine and a silent auction. The chefs of Taddeo’s Fine Italian Restaurant at Main Street Station have created a four-course gourmet meal beginning with fresh shellfish appetizers served from 6-7:30 p.m. The sit-down dinner begins at 7:30 p.m. with a spinach salad creation, followed by three choices of entrees including grilled elk tenderloin, lobster tail or a vegetarian dish. The evening is topped off with a dessert menu. Each course is complimented with fine wines throughout the evening.The silent auction will begin the evening featuring trip getaways, dinners, merchandise and gift certificates donated by area businesses and individuals.Tickets for the event are $70 per person, which includes the four-course dinner, wine, soft drinks and coffee. Corporate tables are available for 6 seats at $600 or 8 seats at $800 and include a VIP package.Tickets are limited, so visit the Carriage House Early Learning Center at 890 Airport Rd. in Breckenridge or call (970) 453-6423. Tickets can also be purchased at the Breckenridge Resort Chamber.The event is sponsored by Taddeo’s Restaurant, National Distributing, 1stBank of Breckenridge and Colorado Premier Resort Properties. All proceeds will benefit The Carriage House Early Learning Center, where children have been learning since 1973.
