Winners of Frisco’s 2012 Wassail Days competition announced
Frisco’s eight-day wassail event invited visitors to vote for their favorite merchant-created wassail (spiced cider) while shopping and dining on Main Street. The town tallied up the ballots for the 2012 Wassail Recipe Competition and the vote is in. This year’s winner, The Lost Cajun Restaurant, managed to secure 361 votes to retain the title for best Wassail. Three-peat champion Rivers, Inc. was a close second, leaving many to wonder what will these two businesses conjure for next year. Seventy-five merchants competed this year for the coveted trophies and offered voters a wide variety of Wassail to tempt their palettes.
