Wolf reintroduction film to screen Wednesday at CMC Breckenridge

A screening of “Epic Yellowstone: Return of the Predators,” along with two short films from the Rocky Mountain Wolf Project, is at 7 p.m. today at the Colorado Mountain College campus in Breckenridge.

The feature film, which is from the Smithsonian Channel, gives an up-close look a year in the lives of the wolves and grizzly bears of Yellowstone National Park’s ecosystem, where they returned in record numbers after a restoration project.

The evening also includes a short talk by Colorado Sierra Club Wildlife Chair Dee Malone, who will talk about what would happen if wolves were restored in Colorado.

Attendees will be given an opportunity to sign the proposed 2020 ballot Initiative 107.

A $5 donation is suggested.
