Women’s Wednesdays at Copper Mountain

With a Copper Mountain pass, women can join other women of all abilities for a day of skiing and instruction on the hill.

Certified professional female instructors teach all levels and encourage women skiing at the same level to explore new terrain. Lately, the instructional focus is on skiing powder with less effort and with more enjoyment.

The group meets at 9:45 a.m. each Wednesday in front of Jack’s in Center Village and skis until about 3 p.m.

A season of lessons with Women’s Wednesdays is $399, which doesn’t include a lift ticket or season pass. A previous Summit Short said the price was $250. The program started on Jan. 5 and runs until March 24 and allows participants to drop in for the day or participate in each weekly lesson.
