Woodward Copper summer skate, BMX day camps keep rolling Aug. 7-11, Aug. 14-18

Colorado kids are some of the most active in the country and Summit County kids are some of the most active in Colorado, what with all the hiking, biking, skating, summer skiing and other distractions found right out their front doors. Before school begins again, let the kiddos try something different with Woodward Copper Day Camp, designed with learning, fun and new friendships in mind, according to a release from Woodward.

Woodward Copper Day Camp is open to kids from 6-14 years old and does not require any previous experience at Woodward. Priced at $299 for a full week, campers will spend their days jumping, tumbling and bouncing on the spring floor and Olympic-quality trampolines in The Barn, a 19,400-square-foot indoor playground at the base of Copper Mountain. Campers can also practice skiing and snowboarding indoors on Skatelite jumps. Where is the landing? In a foam pit, of course. Each day, experienced coaches work with campers to encourage progression and offer expert tips to help campers reach their individual goals, the release continued.

Dates for Woodward Day Camp this summer are Aug. 7-11 and Aug. 14-18. For more information or to sign up, see WoodwardCopper.com/daycamp.
