Workshop offered on home building


Builders, real estate professionals, and homeowners are invited to Get Acquainted with Summit Property, a free workshop presented by the Assistant County Manager Sue Boyd on Water Rights, Building Inspection Director Larry Renfroe on Building Permits, Environmental Health Manager Dan Hendershott on Well Permits and Septic Systems and Radon Mitigation Contractor Arnold Drennen, on Radon Mitigation. The workshop will be held from noon to 3:30 p.m. in the Buffalo Mountain Room at County Commons near Frisco on Friday. Registration is necessary as space is limited. Certification for Three-hour Continuing Education Credit is available at $10 per credit. To register, call CSU Cooperative Extension at (970) 668-4140 or (970) 668-3595.
