Zero waste festivals?

Bill Hyde

I attended the Frisco BBQ Challenge recently. I noticed there were several vendors using Styrofoam containers. This was a bit of a surprise after the town’s focus on having zero waste events with compostable containers. How about making the BBQ Challenge a zero waste event (or at least ban the Styrofoam containers)?
