Letter to the editor: Incredible irony in Morgan Liddick’s recent commentary

Am I the only one who sees the incredible irony in Morgan Liddick’s recent commentary “When we can no longer talk”? (Published Sept. 16 in the Summit Daily News.) In almost the same paragraph, Liddick manages to combine insults aimed at anyone who does not support President Donald Trump with calls for us to learn how to talk to one another. Even more ironic, Liddick seems to think that disapproval of the president is limited to the media, academia and East Coast elites. Hard to believe that over half our nation falls to these three little categories! Who would have thunk it?
