Letter to the editor: The sleepy, quiet town of Dillon is under threat
Dillon
My wife and I bought our home in Dillon 25 years ago.
We were attracted to the “sleepy, quiet town with great views.” Dillon had a lot of charm.
Gone is the charm and a lot of our views. First to go was the Lake Dillon theater. Then Arapahoe Cafe. Next Pug Ryans. What else is on the chopping block? Tiki Bar? Bowling alley? Movie theaters?
What exactly is the attraction to Dillon anymore? Free concerts for the family at the amphitheater are replaced by pot-infested paid events. I’d really like to know the Town Council’s vision for the future?
