Every election has its prime subject.

It used to be war, terrorism, Black Lives Matter, and today we have democracy. But the real problem is inflation, which is a combination of corporate greed, supply chain disturbances, wars and weather conditions. There is only one beneficiary of inflation beside banks. It is the government collecting taxes from constantly growing prices. Some of us are also beneficiaries of inflation — selling our houses for outrageous amounts of money to people who will face unprecedented increases in their property tax very soon.

This should be the prime subject of the election campaign: a total overhaul of America’s tax system.
