Letter to the editor: Warning — watch out for falling rocks on Dillon Dam Road

Pat Feuerriegel
Frisco

Watch out for rocks on the Dillon Dam Road.

On April 2, my husband and I and were returning to Frisco at noon when suddenly a noise akin to a gun shot startled us. A less than five pound rock hit our windshield, broke through all layers of the glass and covered our interior with glass shards.

So, it’s not just the rocks on the road that are a hazard. This rock launched from the cliff wall. Be warned by the “FALLEN ROCKS” signs on the highway. We just want to warn drivers of the dangers on the Dillon Dam Road. They are for real!
